Summary:Microfilm reproduction of a manuscript (leaves numbered 30-203), probably from around 1635, of a compilation of 33 sermons in Tzutuhil by Father Domingo de Vico for use by the friars of the Dominican Order in Guatemala. Several of the sermons explain concepts such as the Immaculate Conception and Judgment Day, while others pertain to certain seasons of the church year, such as Christmas, Epiphany, and Pentecost. Most of the sermons celebrate the feast days of important Christian saints, such as Saints Sebastian, Bartholomew, Peter, Paul, James, Thomas, Andrew, Anthony of Padua, Nicholas of Tolentino, Mary Magdalene, Lucia, Catherine, John the Baptist, and Michael the Archangel.
