Summary:In response to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) recommendation of exercising during pregnancy, more and more women are choosing Pilates as their program of choice. Pre- and Post-Natal Mat Workshop, features Cecile LeMoine Bankston, mother of four, including twins, who presents an overview of how to utilize Pilates as an exercise mode when working with both pre- and post-natal women. The video covers appropriate medical guidelines for working with this unique population, as well as common problems during and after pregnancy, and how to deal with them. The video details how fitness professionals can keep their pre-natal clients fit all the way through pregnancy in a safe and effective manner, and how to get their post-natal clients back to looking great as quickly as possible.
