Summary:Comprehensive and illustrated work on the murals and decorations of the church of Atotonilco, Jalisco, mostly done by colonial artist Martinez Pocasangre. The author documents the fact that Jesuit and poet Luis Felipe Neri Alfaro, founder of the sanctuary and painter Miguel Antonio Martinez Pocasangre used the illustrations of the book "Ævangelic Historice Imagines" by Jesuit Jeronimo Nadal (Hyeronimus Natali) as the inspired iconography to decorate the church that praises the spirituality preached by Saint Ignacio de Loyola. Good reference.
